About Adam Paul Stone

From an early age, I have been captivated by the art of storytelling, weaving cinematic visions from seemingly ordinary moments. At 13, I picked up my first camera, creating everything from silly home videos to inventive YouTube projects with my brother. Those formative experiences became the foundation of a lifelong passion for filmmaking, pushing me to bring authentic stories to life through the lens.

My professional journey began in 2010 when I started directing music videos for local artists, and by 2012, I had the privilege of working with YouTube stars Justin Robinett and Michael Henry. Their music videos reached millions, marking a pivotal moment in my career. My creative endeavors continued with my second short film, Ben, I Like You, which won the Audience Choice Award at the 2013 Flatland Film Festival, and my third short film, Four Eyes, which received seven nominations across various festivals.

Throughout my career, I have collaborated with diverse artists and projects. As the head writer for Pure Magic Pictures' food and travel show View & Chew starring Mike Chen, I explored new avenues of creativity, blending storytelling with culinary adventures. As a director, I’ve worked with renowned artists such as Flatland Cavalry, Phix, Caskey, and Lowlives, contributing to over 800 projects that span music videos, short films, and more.

One of my proudest achievements came in 2022 with the success of my short film Just Like The Butterfly, which swept through film festivals, earning 10+ awards and critical acclaim for its heartfelt narrative. My dedication to authentic, layered storytelling has always been at the heart of my work—from my early days filming YouTube videos to directing ambitious, award-winning projects.

As I continue my journey, my passion remains rooted in crafting stories that resonate deeply with audiences. Whether through music videos, films, or collaborative projects, I strive to create work that entertains, inspires, and connects us all through the language of cinema.
